Michelangelo’s 大卫 is housed in the Tribune, along with paintings by 布龙齐诺, Cecchino Salviati， 和 Allori from the 16th 世纪。

In 1873, the statue of 大卫 should have been placed under a bright skylight, a halo-like dome. In August of that year, the 大卫, transported within a wooden frame, moved on rails specially built for the relocation from 领主广场 to the 学院.

However, the Tribune wasn’t completed, so it couldn’t be moved into the 学院! Records from the archive indicate that the statue was kept in the wooden cart outside until 1882 when the Tribune opened. During those nine years, 大卫 stood inside a wooden crate!

Accademia gallery has two additional sub-halls connected to this leading Tribune. Both rooms are situated, with one lifted to the Davide statue and the other right next to the David statue.
