Starting with April 2022, the first Sunday of every month offered FREE admission to state museums, including the Accademia Gallery in Florence!

On the occasion of the national holidays on 25 April (Liberation Day), 2 June (Republic Day), and 4 November (National Unity and Armed Forces Day), the museums belonging to the Uffizi Galleries (Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens) will be open to the public FREE of charge.

Furthermore, the initiative “Sunday at the Museum (Domenica al Museo)” continues, which offers free admission on the first Sundays of the month.

Please note that on the days of free admission, making reservations is impossible. Priority access is only granted to people with disabilities and pregnant women.

The highly anticipated initiative “Sunday at the Museum (Domenica al Museo)” is back, which offers free admission on the first Sunday of every month to all monuments, museums, galleries, parks, and monumental gardens belonging to the State. The museums of the Uffizi Galleries also enthusiastically participate after the long pause due to the pandemic crisis.
